Scientific evidence isn't just for scientists  --  it's for farmers

So we started Ag Spectrum to make sure scientific data is available to growers.  Today's farmers are involved in an industry that is constantly changing.  Ag Spectrum helps its customers to better understand emerging research so they can make informed decisions.

Other companies focus on applied research.  Ag Spectrum gets down to the basics

For years ag companies have advised their customers by relying on applied research.  Unfortunately for the grower, applied research is often designed to prove a certain method or product is better in order to sell a specific product.  Ag Spectrum has chosen the alternative to applied research:  basic research.  Basic research is simply the nonassumptive approach to finding what works best for growers, not just the company.  Our commitment to the integrity of basic research means a complete flow of ag research, regardless of pet products or "axes to grind."

An ongoing search for good research

From the beginning, Ag Spectrum has invested heavily in basic research, using both university and private research firms.  This type of research costs more, but we'd rather make certain our farmers are informed on the best approaches to farming instead of selling them products at the expense of knowledge.

Not just chemical solutions, but technological solutions

Along with developing new products that help farmers with their long-term plans, Ag Spectrum is also at the forefront of today's agribusiness technology.  The satellite technology of Global Positioning Systems (GPS) is just one of the cutting edge products we use to maximize the profitability of our growers.
